Equip the Molotov, aim, and let it fly with the throw button. Simple as that.
Just aim and press the corresponding button. Trust me; it'll light up your life and those zombies too.
First, make sure you have Molotovs in your inventory. Then, select the Molotov, aim with LT on Xbox or the right mouse button on PC, and throw with RT or left mouse button. Watch the zombies go up in flames!
