Hold down the R2 button and then press the Circle button. Boom! Easy out at first.
It's simple: just press Circle (PS) or B (Xbox) to throw to first. If you mess that up, maybe baseball isn't your thing.
From experience, you can just press the button corresponding to first base (Circle for PS, B for Xbox) to throw there. Works like a charm every time!
