To transform into Devil Jin in Tekken 5, you need to unlock him first. Beat Story Mode with several characters, and he should show up as an unlockable character. Once unlocked, just select him from the character roster. No magical transformation necessary!

Just unlock Devil Jin and pick him from the character select screen. Easy as pie!

In Tekken 5, you can't transform a character into Devil Jin during a fight. You just unlock and choose his character.
