Been there! Just pop into your settings: hit the gear icon, go to Audio, and tweak the Sound Effects slider. Done and done.

Honestly, if the emotes are really bugging you, the best way is to just turn down the overall sound effects volume in the settings. Wish there was an emote-specific slider though!

You can turn down the emote volume in Fortnite by going to Settings > Audio and lowering the Sound Effects volume. This affects more than just emotes but should do the trick!
