To turn off custom matchmaking in Fortnite, just go to the game mode selection screen, click on the 'Custom Options' button at the bottom right, and delete the custom matchmaking code.

From personal experience, you can turn off custom matchmaking by navigating to the game mode screen and removing any custom code in the 'Custom Options' setting.

Click on the game mode selection, hit 'Custom Options,' and simply clear out the code. Easy peasy!
