To turn off toggle aim in Fortnite, go to your settings, find the 'Controls' tab, and switch the 'Aim Down Sights (ADS) mode' from 'Toggle' to 'Hold'. Easy peasy!

Hop into the settings menu, hit the ‘Controls’ tab, and then toggle off the ‘Aim Down Sights (ADS) mode’. That should do the trick!

I had the same issue! Head to settings, go to the 'Controls' section, and change the ADS mode from 'Toggle' to 'Hold'. Worked for me!
