How to turn on your mic in Rec Room PS4
Super easy fix! When you're in Rec Room on your PS4, just press and hold the 'Options' button on your controller. This should bring up the game menu. Look for the 'Audio' tab, and in there, you should find the option to toggle your microphone on or off. Make sure it's set to 'on', and you're all set to chat away!

I think you're overthinking it, dude. Just plug in your mic or make sure your headset is connected. Rec Room usually picks it up automatically. If not, the audio settings in the quick menu got your back.
Just a heads up, if your mic still isn't working after toggling the setting, check your PS4 system settings. Sometimes the issue is there with the device permissions. Fixed mine that way!
