Yo, typing in chat on Apex Legends Xbox is easy peasy. First things first, you gotta open up the chat window during a game. Now, if you're looking to type out those sweet, sweet words, you're gonna need a keyboard. Plug any USB keyboard into your Xbox, hit enter, and start typing away. It's like texting, but you're knee-deep in the chaos of battle.

Actually, you can also use the Xbox's virtual keyboard if you don't have a physical one handy. Just bring up the chat window in-game, and your Xbox should prompt you to type using its on-screen keyboard. Sure, it's not as fast as having a keyboard, but it gets the job done when you're in a pinch or don't want to clutter up your setup.

Guys, let's not overcomplicate things. Voice chat. It's faster, easier, and you don't need to pause the action to tell your squad where the next loot box is. Typing is so last decade anyway.

If you're a Apex Legends player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
