To unlock boats in Valheim, just gather some bronze nails by smelting tin and copper ore from the Black Forest. Then you can craft the Karve at the workbench!

To craft a raft, just need 20 wood, 6 leather scraps, and 10 resin. For the Karve, you need 30 fine wood, 20 resin, 10 deer hide, and 80 bronze nails.
