To unlock Chameleon in Mortal Kombat Trilogy for the PlayStation, pick any male ninja and hold Back + High Punch + High Kick + Block + Run until the round starts. Chameleon will replace your character!

Chameleon is only available in Mortal Kombat Trilogy, not Mortal Kombat 3.

I remember unlocking Chameleon in MK Trilogy on PS1 by holding back and pressing High Punch, High Kick, Block, and Run all together after picking a male ninja. It's a bit tricky but worth it!
