If you blocked someone by mistake, open Messenger, find the chat, tap the info button, and hit 'Unrestrict'. Easy peasy!
You don't need to overthink it: Go to the chat, tap their name, and click 'Unrestrict.' Done and done.
Open Messenger, go to Privacy settings, then 'Restricted accounts,' and just remove the person you no longer want to restrict.
