To use directional hitting in MLB The Show 21, just point the left stick in the direction you want to hit the ball and pray for the best! Timing is still key, so don't forget to swing at the right moment.

Hold the left stick in the direction you want the ball to go and hit the swing button. Easy-peasy. Good luck hitting those homers!

Directional hitting is a no-brainer. Point left stick where you want to send the ball, aim for contact or power and swing away. It takes some practice but you鈥檒l get the hang of it.

Honestly, just use Zone Hitting. It's way more precise and gives you better control over your hits.

If you're a MLB The Show Companion App player looking for extra credit or other power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in MLB The Show Companion App essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
