To use an expansion permit in Hay Day, go to the area you want to expand, tap it, and use the permit along with other required materials. Boom! Extra space for more farm goodness!

When I got my first expansion permit, I tapped the piece of land I wanted to expand and used the permit along with other items like deeds and mallets. Worked like a charm!
