It's all about timing! Block right before the attack hits and then hit them back with your own move. Just keep practicing, you got this!
Block, then hit them back. Simple as that. Timing is key.
I personally find that anticipating your opponent's moves and blocking at the last second works best for pulling off a successful Kounter.
