Just equip them! Open your inventory, click on the boots to pick them up, and then click on the little boot icon near your character portrait. This slots them right into your armor slot, giving you a nice defense and immunity boost.

Leather boots? Strap 'em on for a comfy stroll through the mines. They up your defense and make you slightly less squish-able by monsters. Simply drag and drop them onto your character's feet slot in the inventory screen.

Don't overthink it, leather boots are just gear. Equip and enjoy the defense perk. Seriously, it's that simple.

Honestly, just sell them. You'll find better boots in the mines soon enough. #HotTake

If you're a Stardew Valley player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
