Getting the magnifying glass in Stardew Valley is like unlocking a superpower for hidden items! After you get it from the 'A Winter Mystery' quest, just walk around and when you're close to a hidden item, a little 'inspect' icon pops up. Click or tap on that, and voila, you've found something that was hidden. It's great for finding those sneaky Secret Notes.

lol just walk around with it. The game does the rest for you. If something's hidden nearby, it'll let you know. No need to equip it or anything, it's all automatic. Happy hunting!

Honestly, the magnifying glass is overhyped. Yeah, it shows hidden items, but walking around aimlessly isn't fun. Better to focus on farming or mining, IMO.
