From my experience, hop into Desktop Mode first and make those F8/F3 adjustments. Keeps the game running smoothly with your usual setup!
Alright! First, make sure you launch the game in Desktop Mode, not VR. Then, while in the game, press F8 to free up the mouse cursor. Now, press F3, and a small menu will appear in the top left corner. Uncheck the 'Disable Console' option. You should be able to use your mouse and keyboard now!
Mouse and keyboard in VR? Just adjust settings with F8 and F3, and boom, you're set!
