Honestly, using one Joy-Con isn't ideal for Mortal Kombat 11. Try a Pro Controller or something more robust for best experience.

I use one Joy-Con all the time for MK11. Turn it sideways, sync it with the console, and enjoy the fight. It’s surprisingly manageable, though a bit of a squeeze for those Fatality combos!
