Unfortunately, voice chat on the Nintendo Switch for Fortnite only works with a supported headset. You could use an external mic to chat through your TV speakers, but the quality might not be great.

No headset, no problem! Just join the lobby chat on your mobile device using the Fortnite app. Smartphone to the rescue!

Sorry, no can do. The Nintendo Switch requires headphones with a mic for voice chat in Fortnite. Time to dig up those earbuds!

If you're in a pinch, you can use the Nintendo Switch Online mobile app for voice chat. Yeah, it's not the most convenient, but it works without headphones!

If you're a Fortnite player looking for extra v-bucks, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Fortnite gift card, which you can win and use to get v-bucks essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
