How to Water Crops Faster in Stardew Valley
Just let the rain do it. If you're really against watering, focus on farming on rainy days. Obviously, this isn't reliable, but hey, it's a no-effort method!

Craft quality sprinklers asap. They make life so much easier by watering 8 tiles around them. You can sleep in and wake up to hydrated, happy crops.
Upgrade your watering can at the Blacksmith to hold more water and water more tiles at once. You'll start with the ability to water one tile, but upgrades can let you water up to three, five, or even more tiles in a single swing. Remember, the Blacksmith needs a couple of days to do the upgrade, so time it when you're not needing to water your crops (like the day before it rains).
Use sprinklers! They automatically water your crops every morning, so you don't have to. There are different sprinkler types that water different numbers of adjacent squares. Basic ones cover four tiles, but as you level up your farming and crafting, you can make ones that cover eight or even 24 tiles around them.
