Just go into your Settings app, find Security, then choose Screen Lock. Switch from the current setting to a simple swipe or PIN!
Update your Android O.S. - sometimes it鈥檚 just a bug that gets fixed with the latest version.
Disable the Smart Lock feature under Security settings. Worked for me!
