Nope! Season 2 of Demon Slayer covers the Mugen Train arc in the first part, but it adds extra scenes and episodes. After that, it moves on to the Entertainment District arc.

Basically yes, but with some extras in the anime. Think of it as a movie with director's cut plus more story after!

The Mugen Train movie and the first part of Season 2 cover the same story, but the anime version adds some bonus content. The second part of Season 2 then continues the story.

The movie is faster to watch, but Season 2 gives you a bit more context and story development.
