Yes and no. The Mugen Train movie is also covered in Season 2, but the anime expands on it with extra episodes.

Sort of! The first part of Season 2 re-adapts the Mugen Train movie, but it includes additional content and new scenes.

Nah, the movie is more compact. Season 2 just stretches it out with more details.
