It really depends on your playstyle. If you love dealing damage and burning through enemies, Flame is your go-to. But if you want to block and control, Barrier's your friend.

I've been playing Blox Fruits for months, and Flame gives you those cool AoE attacks, making farming enemies much easier. Barrier's fun for trolling or team plays, though.
