Nope, GTA 5 isn't crossplay between PS4 and PS5. Both consoles can play the game alright, but if you're on PS4 and your buddy's on PS5, you guys can't play together in the same game session. Each console has its own network.

Actually, GTA 5 doesn't support crossplay between any platforms, including PS4 and PS5. So, if you're planning to team up for some Los Santos mayhem, better make sure everyone's on the same console version!

GTA 5 crossplay? Nah, doesn't exist between PS4 and PS5. It's a bummer, I know. Had to learn that the hard way when I tried to join my friend's game and it was a no-go.

If you're a Grand Theft Auto player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
