Only in the setting! GTA 5's Los Santos is the HD universe's version of the same city in San Andreas. So, same city, different universes.

Actually, no. People get this mixed up a lot. GTA San Andreas and GTA 5 might share Los Santos, but they're in separate universes. Rockstar even said it's like they're parallel dimensions. So, no direct connection, but yes to shared locations.

Yeah, GTA San Andreas and GTA 5 are connected, but it's more about the setting than direct storyline links. Both games are set in versions of Los Angeles, called Los Santos in the GTA universe. You'll see familiar places and Easter eggs in GTA 5 that nod back to San Andreas, but the characters and stories don't directly continue from one to the other. Think of it more like they share the same world, not the same story.

If you're a Grand Theft Auto player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
