Nope, High School DxD and High School of the Dead are totally different shows! High School DxD is all about demons, angels, and supernatural battles with plenty of fan service. High School of the Dead, on the other hand, throws you into a zombie apocalypse with tons of action and survival horror. So, pick your poison—demons or zombies!

Having watched both, I can confirm they are not the same. DxD focuses on supernatural conflicts and, ahem, 'bonding,' while High School of the Dead leans into zombie survival horror. Both have action, but very different vibes!
