Is investing in Pokemon cards a good idea?

Eh, I'd say it's hit or miss. While some cards have skyrocketed in value (think first edition Charizard), not every card you find is going to turn into a goldmine. It's a lot like playing the lottery but with cooler art.

Honestly, I made a decent chunk of change selling some of my old Pokemon cards. Kept them in good condition, found a collector's forum, and bam! But it took a lot of research to figure out what was worth selling.

Absolutely, investing in Pokemon cards can be a fantastic idea if you do your homework! The key is knowing which cards to collect. Look for rare, holographic, or first edition cards. These tend to appreciate in value over time, especially if you keep them in mint condition. The Pokemon TCG community is massive and growing, so there's always a new set of eyes looking to buy.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
