It really depends on your preference. If you love the precision of aiming with a mouse and all those shortcut keys, go with the keyboard. For a more laid-back, immersive experience, especially on the couch, a controller might be your best friend.
Played Starfield on PC with both. I found exploring and space combat felt smoother with a controller, but planetary combat was more precise with the keyboard and mouse. Try 'em both and see what fits!
