Nah, Kratos isn't Mortal Kombat canon. He's just a guest character in Mortal Kombat 9, like a cool vacation for him from God of War.

Kratos appeared in Mortal Kombat 9 as an exclusive character for the PlayStation version, but he's not part of the official Mortal Kombat lore.

Short answer: no. He's just a fun cameo.

Played MK9 on PlayStation鈥擪ratos was awesome, but he's not in the main story or lore. Just a guest star with some killer moves!

If you're a Mortal Kombat player looking for extra coins or other power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in Mortal Kombat essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
