Maki's alive but not without her scars. After the events in the manga, she's very much changed. Think of it as a rebirth; the Maki you knew before isn't quite the same. But dead? Nah, she's too tough for that.

Nope, Maki is not dead in Jujutsu Kaisen. She pretty much goes through a lot, especially after the Shibuya Incident, but she's very much alive and kicking harder than ever. Girl's a survivor and comes back stronger, so don't count her out yet.
