Yup, those are bots you're racing against! Nintendo uses them to balance gameplay, but you'll see more real players in higher ranks.

They mix bots and real players. At first, you'll mostly race bots but once you're more experienced, say hello to real competition!

It's not all bots, but yeah, a lot of the players in the beginning are bots for smooth matchmaking.

Bro, Mario Kart Tour uses bots in lower ranks. Super annoying but kinda makes sense for quicker games.

Mario Kart Tour does use bots, especially in lower tiers, to help matchmake quickly. As you climb higher, you'll face more real players.

If you're a Mario Kart Tour player looking for extra coins or other power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in Mario Kart Tour essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
