Unfortunately, Mortal Kombat 9 isn't currently on the backwards compatibility list for Xbox Series X. Bummer, right?

As of now, you can't play Mortal Kombat 9 on Xbox Series X through backward compatibility. Maybe it's time to try Mortal Kombat 11 instead?

Nope, unfortunately Mortal Kombat 9 isn't backwards compatible on the Xbox Series X. You'll need an older console to play it!
