Yeah, Shadow Lugia is totally a real Pokémon card, but it's not what you might expect. It's actually a special promotional card, not part of the standard sets. It was released for the Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness game for the GameCube. The card itself is huge, way bigger than the regular cards, and it's definitely a collector's item. So, if you're hoping to play with it in a standard game, you might be outta luck. But as a collectible, it's legit!

Got a Shadow Lugia card myself, definitely real and one of the jewels of my collection. It's more of a showpiece than something you'd shuffle into your deck for game night. Trust me, it's as real as it gets but not for regular play.

Shadow Lugia? Real, but only in your dreams if you think you're using it in official play. It's a promo collector's item, folks.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
