Honestly, the sub is way better. Japanese voice acting adds a whole other layer to the experience that you just don't get with the dub.
If you love hearing the original Japanese voice actors bring their A-game and don't mind reading subtitles, go with the sub. It really captures all the nuances!
I watched it dubbed and loved every second. The English cast really nailed the characters, especially Maka and Soul!
