Nope, the Shadow Lugia Pokemon card fans talk about isn't an official TCG card. It's actually a custom or fan-made card that's not legal for official play. However, it looks super cool and has gained a bit of a cult following because of its unique design and the fact it's based on the Shadow Lugia from the video game Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness.

Actually, yes and no. There is a Shadow Lugia card, but it's a promotional item and not part of the regular Pokemon TCG lineup. It was released as a jumbo card through a Nintendo Power magazine promotion, making it more of a collectible than a playable card in the standard game. So, while it exists, don't expect to use Shadow Lugia in your next tournament.

Shadow Lugia card? As real as my chances of becoming a Pokemon Master. Which is to say, not in the regular card game. But if you're into collecting unique and unofficial Pokemon items, it's a pretty legendary find!

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
