Yes, you can repair Pokemon cards, but it depends on how damaged they are. For minor surface scratches, using a soft, clean cloth lightly dampened with water might help. If the edges are frayed, you could carefully trim them with scissors, but keep in mind this might affect the card's value if you're a collector. For more serious damage like tears, some people use clear tape or even a bit of glue, but you have to be really careful to not make it worse.

Tape. Just slap some tape on it. Works every time.

Honestly, trying to repair Pokemon cards might not be worth the effort, especially if they're valuable. If a card's seriously damaged, its value is already decreased. Better to keep them in good condition from the start than to try and fix them up.

I've fixed a couple of my cards before! If it's a clean tear, I use a tiny bit of super glue, applied with a toothpick. You have to be super careful to not use too much, or it'll seep out the sides and make it look worse. It's not perfect, but it makes the card playable again, at least casually.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
