I'd recommend the Chikara arc (290-295). It's action-packed and fits nicely into the main story. Plus, it's got some epic battles!
Nah, stick to the canon episodes. Filler is called filler for a reason, ya know?
Most fillers are skippable, but the Itachi Shinden arc (451-458) is definitely worth watching. Deepens Itachi's character and feels like core narrative.
