Yup, both Tokyo Ghoul and Parasyte follow unsuspecting protagonists who get transformed into something not-so-human and have to navigate the dangers of their new lives. If you love dark themes and intense battles, you're in for a treat with either series!
I think Tokyo Ghoul is WAY better paced and detailed, but Parasyte has its own charm. Different strokes for different folks!
They both have a similar vibe but definitely their own flavor. If you like one, you'll probably enjoy the other.
