Tokyo Ghoul is where it all started and it has a special place in many fans' hearts! The original series focuses on Ken Kaneki's intense transformation and his struggle to adapt, which makes it very gripping. But Tokyo Ghoul:re also has its moments, building on the story with more character development and new plot twists. It’s honestly worth watching both!

Hot take: Tokyo Ghoul:re had a more satisfying narrative arc for me. But it’s pretty split among fans!

Tokyo Ghoul all the way! It’s the perfect blend of action and emotion. :D

The original Tokyo Ghoul has a darker and more compelling storyline. Tokyo Ghoul:re, however, offers deeper character development and continues the story effectively. Depends on what you prefer!
