Should I Buy Super Mario Galaxy 1 or 2?
Super Mario Galaxy is iconic, but Super Mario Galaxy 2 somehow takes that magic and cranks it up to 11 with even more creative levels and Yoshi. Personally, I'd go for 2 if you're looking for an even more refined experience!

Super Mario Galaxy 1 has the nostalgia factor and a more cohesive story, but Galaxy 2 offers more challenging gameplay and new mechanics. Both are fantastic, but if you can only choose one, go with your gut!
Get Galaxy 2. More levels, more Yoshi, more fun.
Having played both extensively, I gotta say Super Mario Galaxy 2 just edges out the first one for me. It builds on the original's greatness and adds new twists.
