Attack on Titan is definitely intense! If your kid is mature enough to handle graphic violence, complex themes, and some deep psychological stuff, it could be okay. Parental discretion is key.

I watched it with my 13-year-old and we had some good discussions about the themes. It depends on the kid and how much you want to be involved.
