Should I pick mushrooms or bats in Stardew Valley?

Bats all the way! They occasionally drop fruit which can be hard to come by early in the game, especially if you need it for the Community Center bundles. It's a bit of a gamble since the drops aren't as consistent as mushrooms, but it pays off with variety and can save you some time and energy.

Mushrooms, no question. They're not only great for money-making but crucial for some of the best recipes in the game that boost energy and health. Plus, you don't have to rely on random drops like with the bats.

Definitely go for the mushrooms. They're a steady source of income and you can use them for various recipes and crafting. Plus, the mushroom cave option gives you access to both common and rare mushrooms without the need to forage for them outside, which is super useful during different seasons.

Going to dissent here and say bats are underrated. Sure, mushrooms are a safe bet for steady income, but the fruit from bats can cover a wider range of needs, including gifting, artisan goods, and more. Plus, it's the only way to get some fruits outside their normal season or without having to plant the trees yourself.

If you're a Stardew Valley player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
