I personally enjoyed the manga more. The art is fantastic, and it's a quicker read if you're short on time.
If you want the most in-depth experience, start with the light novels! They offer more detailed storytelling and character development. The manga is great too, especially for the visual gags, but it doesn't dive as deep.
