Totally depends on your rig and your tolerance for screen tearing vs input lag. If you've got a beast of a PC that's spitting out frames way above your monitor's refresh rate, turning on VSync might help smooth things out by syncing the game's FPS to your monitor. But beware, it can also introduce some input lag. If you're all about that precision aiming, you might want to leave VSync off and deal with the occasional screen tear.

Nope, turn it off. VSync = input lag, which is a big no-no in a fast-paced shooter like Valorant. Go for raw speed over prettiness.

I turned on VSync in Valorant because the screen tearing was driving me nuts. Noticed a slight delay, but my shots are still on point. It's all about what you can tolerate.
