I once won the Stardew Valley Fair by focusing on diversity and quality. Made sure I had items from different categories all with gold stars. Had a gold-star cheese, ancient fruit, diamond, gold-star pumpkin, gold-star large goat milk, fairy rose honey, catfish, sea cucumber, and one of my artisan goods, a cloth from wool. Scored big time with that lineup!
