What Are Child Specials in Fallout Shelter?
Child Specials in Fallout Shelter refer to the stats that children inherit from their parents. Basically, when you pair up two Dwellers in the living quarters, they can have kids. The kid's starting SPECIAL stats (Strength, Perception, Endurance, Charisma, Intelligence, Agility, Luck) are influenced by the stats of their parents. If the parents have high SPECIAL stats, there’s a good chance the child will inherit these strong traits. So, picking the right parents is key if you're aiming for super Dwellers!

It's all about the genes, baby! Think of it this way: Dwellers with great stats make babies with better-than-average stats. Free eugenics simulator?
Don't expect miracles. Sure, parents' stats influence the kid's, but it's not a guarantee for a prodigy. Sometimes, RNG just doesn't bless your Vault.
Honestly, it feels a bit random sometimes, but I did notice my kids turning out better when the parents had high stats. Like, one time, I matched two Dwellers with maxed out stats and their kid came out with significantly higher starting stats than a random pairing. Coincidence? I think not!
