Swirls on Pokemon cards are these cool, shiny holo patterns that you can sometimes see in the foil part of the card. They kinda look like little galaxies or whirlpools. Not every card has them but when they do, it's like winning a mini lottery cuz collectors love them!

Honestly, swirls are overhyped. Just shiny bits. Cards are cool, swirl or no swirl.
