Ultra rare Pokémon cards are those gems in the Pokémon TCG world that make collectors and players go wild! They're usually marked with unique holographic art, special textures, or distinct features that set them apart. Think along the lines of Full Art cards, Secret Rares, or the much-coveted Rainbow Rares. Not just pretty to look at, but some of these cards can seriously up your game or fetch a pretty penny!

Basically, if you pull a card that makes everyone at the table go 'Ooooh!', there's a good chance you've got an ultra rare. Keep an eye out for anything with unusual artwork or those elusive gold borders. And don't forget to check the card number; if it's higher than the official set count, congratulations, you've hit the collector's jackpot!

Ultra rares? Overrated if you ask me. Just get cards you like, play the game, and have fun. Who cares about rarity?

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
