Those symbols can be a bit confusing at first! The flames mean you and your opponent have been playing for several consecutive days, while the blue circle with a white number shows how many tiles you and your opponent have left.

The yellow lightning bolt? That means it's a power-up! Use it wisely to gain a strategic advantage. The blue circle numbers show your remaining tiles.

Symbols are simple: Flames = streak; Blue circle = how many tiles left. Now go crush your opponent!

I play every day! The flame shows you've been playing with your opponent for days in a row, and that blue circle/number combo shows how many tiles each player has left.

If you're a Words with Friends player looking for extra coins or other power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in Words with Friends essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
